Post Graduate Diploma in Management with specialization in Finance (2 Years)
The PGDM(Finance) is an intensely structured programme with 6 Trimesters spread over 2 years. During this period the participants are required to complete various credits and a 3-month corporate internship (PCP) to meet the academic requirement of the institute. On completion of this program, the student will be awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance).
The Professional Project is the practical application of management skills acquired during the academic period of the PGDM(Finance) Programme. The project should be a Professional Company Project (PCP) and is undertaken after completion of the academic study for 9 months.
The PCP, a company assignment, is normally takes the form of a live project lasting 3 months. The company is considered to be the first user of real client, participants are advised to do the project in a real time situation. After completion of the project, the participants submit a professional company project report for evaluation as part of the Capstone module.
The PGDM(Finance) programme has been designed to combine innovation with academic excellence. It offers participants a diversified curriculum specific topics & areas. They also have the options to take up electives from actuarial, insurance, wealth management areas or combination of these.
